From July 29 to 30, 2019, the Ak-Dobo agricultural commodity and service cooperative successfully passed an audit according to the Organic standard (EU requirements). Now we are looking forward to the results of laboratory analyzes of the plum fruits that were selected from the fields of the cooperative members during the audit.
At the moment, the cooperative has 25 members with a total production area of more than 24 hectares, of which 18 were certified last year, and the remaining 7 are new members of the cooperative. All members of the cooperative are engaged in the production of organic fresh plums.
In addition, very soon the cooperative will undergo an audit according to the FairTrade standard (Fair Trade), in case of obtaining a FairTrade certificate, the cooperative will be able to receive a premium of 15% of the sold crop.
